StrayCash connects to your bank through Plaid, identifies deposits that look like a recurring paycheck, and reports how much of the most recent one you have not yet spent. It is an informational tool. It does not hold your money, move it, or give financial advice.
You need an account to use StrayCash, and you are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it.
You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and you may only connect bank accounts that belong to you or that you are authorised to access.
Payments are handled by Stripe and are subject to Stripe's own terms.
StrayCash reports figures derived from data supplied by your bank through Plaid. That data can be delayed, incomplete, or miscategorised, and pending transactions may not be reflected. Detection of which deposit is your paycheck is automatic and can be wrong, which is why you can correct it.
Do not rely on StrayCash as your only source of truth about your balance. Check your bank before making decisions that depend on an exact figure. StrayCash does not account for money you have committed but not yet spent.
You agree not to:
We may suspend or close accounts that do these things.
StrayCash depends on services we do not control, including your bank and Plaid. It may be unavailable at times, for maintenance or for reasons beyond us. We do not promise uninterrupted access.
You can stop using StrayCash at any time by cancelling and asking us to delete your account. We may end your access if you break these terms, or if we discontinue the service, in which case we will give reasonable notice and refund any period paid for but not used.
If we change these terms materially, we will let you know before the change takes effect. Continuing to use StrayCash afterwards means you accept the updated terms.
Questions about these terms can be sent to support@straycash.app.
